The course of the recipe

1. Start to prepare the ingredients and detail the bread if you have handmade it
2. After you’ve remove the crust, make regular slices
3. Melt your butter and use a food brush to brush the inside of your bread slices
4. Cut thin slices of cheese more or less regular
5. Place them on the inside of one of your slices of bread, add the bechamel on a fine layer before the cheese for a bechamel one
6. Then place your ham slice(s)
7. Butter the top of your croque-monsieur so that it browns well in the oven, mix grated cheese with bechamel and put on the top for the Bechamel recipe
8. Place your croque-monsieur on a baking sheet or on a reusable baking sheet (Zero Waste +), put you oven at 240°C/450°F, cooking is over when your bread is lightly browned, do not burn it
FINAL: Simply present your croque-monsieur with a salad and serve hot. ADD a fried egg on the top for a croque-madame recipe ENJOY!
